Abel Tasman, New Zealand – A MUST SEE AND DO

On Friday the 17th of February, myself and thirteen of my work mates started a three day walk on the Abel Tasman Track which is at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. Walking and being by the sea are two of my absolute favourite things, so I was so eager to go,  and seeing as I had never been up to Nelson in my 21 years, you can’t blame me for being a little excited as it’s a such picturesque place in New Zealand.

We were lucky enough to do this walk through a company called Wilsons, this meant we had three guides with us for the three days, transport, all meals provided and accomodation at beachside lodges (a dream come true waking up with the sea on my door step!). They have more information on their website which is easy to find by looking up Wilsons Abel Tasman on Google.

Despite the rain and cloudy skies for the first day, it didn’t stop the scenery from looking beautiful and my jaw dropping countless times. The following day it rained in the morning but by the time we parked up at Bark Bay for lunch, there were blue skies and the sun decided to finally come out and say hello, and this is what the weather was like for the rest of the walk, which I was so thankful for.

I’ve been back for 2 weeks and I’m already wanting to go back to this beautiful spot, the weather was perfect (once the rain stopped), the guides were so helpful and friendly, the people I went with made it so much fun, we had so many laughs, oh and the food was insanely amazing, being vegan I wasn’t sure what they’d come up with but they put in 110% when it came to making vegan food, I was even told by someone that they had wished they had said they were vegan just so they could get yummy food like mine.

So if you ever find yourself in New Zealand or wanting to go on an adventure I highly recommend checking out the Abel Tasman Track, it doesn’t have to be done in three days, you can do different parts of the track depending how many hours you have or nights you want to stay.

I’ve put some photos below for you to see, these were some of my favourite shots taken along the track. I took these photos with my Canon EOS1200D.

Enjoy,

I’m blogging?!

Hi, I’m Georgie and welcome to my blog!

Only recently has this idea of blogging come about, not saying I’ve never liked the idea of blogging it just wasn’t something I’ve been interested in doing. But recently I have been overwhelmed with so many thoughts and learnt so much about different things that now I am wanting to share these things with you.

I’m unsure exactly what this blog with consist of but at this stage I’m looking at focusing on veganism, positivity, self love, travel, and life in general. I am no English expert, or professional blogger at all, so don’t mind the punctuation and grammar errors. This is somewhere where I want to share positivity, my thoughts, passions and ideas and connect with like-minded people.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy my future content, and once again, welcome to my blog!
